Replacement Window Screens

There are a lot of things to consider when shopping for new windows. What material should your windows be? What color best matches your home’s exterior? What style of grille, if any, do you want? These are just a few of the many questions you’ll have.
One thing that is often forgotten, however, is window screens. Window screens should come standard on virtually all windows these days, but most manufacturers offer more than one variety of screen. So, how do you know which one to pick? Here are a few things you should consider:
- Is your view obstructed by the window screen?
- How large are the holes in the mesh? Are they large enough to let small insects in?
- Are the screens sturdy and resistant to punctures and tears?
- Can the screens be easily removed for cleaning?
Weather Shield Screen Options
Weather Shield Premium, Signature, and Aspire Series offer both a high visibility mesh and aluminum non-glare mesh option. Our High-Visibility screen cloth utilizes a much finer mesh that offers more airflow along with better optical clarity. The aluminum non-glare mesh reduces glare from your windows and it is very durable.
Our Weather Shield and EnduraShield product lines offer the three screen options listed above. The standard fiberglass mesh is a typical no-fills window screen. The No See Um mesh provides maximum clarity and visible light compared to traditional screen. The aluminum non-glare mesh is the same screen found on the product lines discussed above.
