Weather Shield®

Bi-fold Door
The Weather Shield bi-fold door is a beautiful solution for both modest to expansive openings. The 2-1/4" thick accordion-style door is available in configurations from two to eight panels and can accommodate openings as wide as 23 feet. Elegant and versatile, the Bi-fold door can be used to divide a room or expand a living space to the outdoors. Units are available as either all-wood or with an extruded aluminum-clad exterior and wood interior.

Interior Options

Choose from a variety of rich custom wood interiors to complement fine furniture, cabinets, floors and interior trim. Pine is standard and available interior prefinished in any one of the Accentials™ colors (see Exterior Finishes). FSC certified wood species are also available.

Grilles

No matter the style of your project there are grille options to suit your design. There are three grille options available including wood removable grilles, grilles in the airspace and simulated divided lites.

Wood Removable Grilles

Wood removable grilles feature a frame design that offers strength superior to stick grilles offered by other window manufacturers. The frame snaps securely into the interior sash using a concealed pin system. Wood removable grilles make window cleaning easier, yet provide an added interior dimension. Custom grille designs are available.

Grille Between the Glass

Grille Between the Glass (GBG) consist on aluminum muntin bars in between two panes of insulating glass, giving you the look of divided lites while making window cleaning easier.

Simulated Divided Lites

Simulated divided lites (SDL) offer the authentic look of true divided lites without sacrificing energy efficiency. Interior and exterior bars are permanently adhered the glass and a narrow spacer bar is positioned within the insulating glass airspace. Unlike true divided lites, SDL utilizes a single pane of insulating glass, decreasing the potential for energy loss. Exterior bars will be finished to match the exterior finish specified. Custom grille designs are available.

Exterior Trim

Exterior trim is the perfect accessory for giving character to your windows and doors. Choose from a wide variety of trim options for both aluminum and wood exteriors. Exterior trim can be finished in one of our 55 Accentials™ exterior finishes, or in an anodized finish for aluminum exteriors.

Aluminum Trim

Exterior finish options available for aluminum trim include anodized finishes, as well as the 55 Accentials standard and designer colors. Custom colors are also available.

Wood Trim

Exterior finish options available for wood trim include primed or 55 Accentials standard and designer colors. Custom colors are also available.
Wood flat casing is available in numerous widths up to 12”.
