Weather Shield's TWO-PIECE aluminum casing system consists of a flat casing and
back band. Exterior finishes
are applied to the flat casing
and the back band seperately, before the two-piece casing
is assembled which provides greater long-lasting protection from the elements. |

Casing installation is quick and easy with out SNAPFIT clip system. A patent pending vinyl clip (shown darkened for illustrative
purposes) inserts into the aluminum accessory groove on the exterior of installed window and door units. This allows for all four sides of the casing to be installed at the same time. Once the casing is snapped in place, it is permanently secured through the secondary nailing fin.

Weather Shield is one of the few manufacturers that offers an optional EXTENDED SIL HORN in an exterior aluminum casing system. This architectural feature simulates traditional wood trim. Color matched end plugs complete the look of the installation detail.
